Advocacy

We are committed to ensuring that our vision of health for all around the world and a Switzerland that advocates the right to health can be achieved. Together with our members, we are working to make sure that Swiss decision-makers demonstrate solidarity and take on more responsibility for health worldwide, and that this takes effect coherently across all political areas. In exchanges with our member organisations and their partners in the Global South, we are conducting a dialogue with relevant stakeholders in international health cooperation and are fighting together for more global justice and for the reduction of poverty and inequality, both decisive factors which determine people’s health.

Publications

Publications

Our freely accessible publications address worldwide trends in international health cooperation and global health, and discuss both challenges and opportunities. This allows the voices of our network members to be heard in diverse ways.

Dialogue on Development Policy

MMS is engaged in a dialogue on development policy with civil society and with the administrative, business, science and political sectors. We introduce the knowledge of our member organisations into the relevant debates on issues of global health and international health policy so that politicians can make informed decisions. In this, we regard ourselves as a partnership-based stakeholder.

We Get Involved

We Get Involved

Together with and on behalf of our members, MMS always gets involved where the right to health for all is concerned. We are committed to achieving a Switzerland that accepts its responsibilities and works in solidarity worldwide for access to health for all and the right to health. - Medicus Mundi Switzerland finances this commitment through its own financial resources and accordingly does not use public funds for political work.
