PAHO, WHO, University of Antioquia and Enfants du Monde launched a course to promote maternal and newborn health

Enfants du Monde The course on Health Promotion and Empowerment for Maternal and Newborn Health (ProSaMNe), a technical cooperation tool promoted by the Latin American Centre for Perinatology (CLAP) of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the Department of Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent and Adolescent Health (WHO), the University of Antioquia (UdeA) in Colombia and Enfants du Monde (EdM), recently started with more than 50 participants. The initiative is aimed at health professionals from Colombia, Guatemala and Peru, and its primary objective is to contribute to capacity building related to empowerment and community participation as substantial elements to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality.
